1st Sledding Trip of the Season!

Ty spent a lot of time packing down the snow. We were one of the first people there. It was one of the first good snowstorms of the season.
And he wonders why he gets so cold???

This is the way Bet does things.

But she gets up and is laughing and having a ball!

Bet and Emma go down and both are having so much fun until they face plant it...

Emma did not think that was cool at all!

But Bet just laughed and went back up the hill. Atta girl...

Hana is almost always smiling, so of course she's giggling all the way down the hill.

She got frosted a bit!

I LOVE this shot! Their faces tell it all.

Emma actually did have a lot of fun runs down the hill despite her face dunking.

She did pretty good walking up the hill if she hung onto the sled and Mick or I walked up with her.

Favorite random shots during December

Hana Bugs is IN LOVE with horses! She wishes we had some, she seems to think they would do just fine in our backyard. I'm quite certain she would ride every day if she had the opportunity. So she has many stuffed and all kinds of toy horses. This one's name is cookie. Her other favorite is name Butterscotch and that poor horse is dragged everywhere - it sleeps with her, it's gone camping and to the cabin, it plays outside, it has joined us for dinner... the list is endless
Now this I had to get in a picture for future reference when she is a teenager. It looked so cute her sitting there scrubbing the dishes and loading them in the dishwasher. She is a good little helper once she sets her mind to it.

Gotta have a snowman every year. I don't think there was too much fighting amongst the three to get it made. I think the scarf was a controversy, but they solved it.

Now this is definitely another family member. This is Froggy. He is Emma's little buddy and I need to get a picture of her sleeping with her arm around him and his little bug eyes sticking out of the covers. He also has gone camping, spent many a night at the dinner table, bed time does not happen until he's found and for a while he sported some nice lipstick. It was fantastic.

Grandma Julie helping Emma learn how to draw.

The kids love to help Grandma Julie make cookies. She is so patient to let them help.
