
Our family went to White Wash down by Green River over Memorial Day. A bunch of us were out riding on the slick rock and I stalled it in a bad spot and ended up going over the drop to my left. Only thing that broke was a shattered thumb, (not to mention the bent handle bars and subframe that bent when it fell on me). I feel very lucky not to be hurt worse.

This was right after surgery. There is a plate, 5 screws and some wire in that small bone.

You can see the wire better in this one. Got the stitches out a few days ago. In a splint for a few weeks and then I start physical therapy. Yikes.
